Holy Cross Parish and The Apostolate of The Legion of Mary are pleased to announce our new traveling statue of The Blessed Mother.
Would you like to be blessed by having Mother Mary come into your home and be with your family? This program offers families a beautiful devotion and way to draw closer to God through the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She will spend one week with you in a special place of your choosing. You, your family, and friends will gather around her daily for the recitation of the holy rosary, pray for the special intentions of our priests, and your own intentions. Our families, our church, and our world are in so much need of the Holy Mother’s intercession, blessings, and graces.
My own personal story is one of such great love. A love I never knew was possible. I was completely lost after an abusive relationship and was not attending church. I had no idea where to turn. Our Lady, My Mother in heaven, gently brought me under the protection of her Holy Mantle. She led me to her Son, Jesus. Now, 30 years later, I am happy, peaceful, have a beautiful family of my own, and can’t imagine my life without her! She will bless you in ways you can’t even imagine. We just need to be with her and pray the rosary as she has requested.
How it works:
• We will have sign-ups via email and/or through the sign-up book in the back of the church.
• The program will begin with sign-ups today.
• Each Sunday, a member of the Legion of Mary will honor one family with the statue of Our Gracious Mother after mass.
• She will rotate between masses, so you won’t need to change your schedule.
• After your week of being blessed by Our Holy Mother, you will simply bring the statue back 15 minutes prior to the start of the mass, apart from the 4:00 PM mass on Sunday. For this mass, we would request that you bring the statue to the office before 12:00 PM on Friday.The parish office closes at Noon.
