gives you an insight into the various ways you can come to know our Lord through our Adult, Children and Youth faith formation and Sacrament programs.

displays our Mass, Confession, and adoration times, where you have the opportunity to grow in your relationship with Jesus through prayer. You may also learn more about our liturgical ministries where you can use your talent of voice in the music ministry or in proclaiming the Word at Mass. There are many ways you can assist with the liturgy during daily Mass or our weekend Masses.

You are also able to access the readings and music selections for Weddings and Funerals.

History

On August 1, 1978, Father William J. Mitchell left Queen of Peace Parish to establish the new Parish of Holy Cross.

Eight acres of land were purchased at Power and Southern Roads. Architects were George Christensen and Associates. Porter Brothers Construction Company Mesa, was the builder of the 825 seat church.

Ground breaking ceremonies were held on September 14, 1980. Construction began on December 15, 1980 and work was completed November 15, 1981.

The first mass was celebrated on November 19, 1981. Dedication ceremonies took place on March 9, 1982 with Bishop Thomas O’Brien officiating.
