Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ of Holy Cross,

I can't thank you enough for the invaluable input provided through your planning study surveys. Your responses helped me prayerfully discern the best course to take to continue planning ahead.

We have identified our greatest needs at Holy Cross: firstly, we need to take care of our deteriorating roof and secondly, we need to support the Bishop's Evangelization Campaign; Together Let Us Go Forth. The planning study results demonstrated that we have the potential to meet these two goals.

The study also showed that we have the potential to meet a few of the other goals as well, such as a centrally located tabernacle behind the main altar, and the creation of partitioned space in Anderson Hall, meeting our need for increased ministry and event space. The cost for all of these projects will fall well within our projected return from the Bishop's Campaign. The other major project, namely the Adoration Chapel, was well received by many, but we discovered through your feedback that making it part of the same Campaign is too ambitious at the present time.

I am most confident that we will support our Bishop well for our assigned part of the Together Let Us Go Forth campaign, and I look forward to sharing  the details of this next phase with you. I plan to reach out to those parishioners who so generously offered to help our Holy Cross community with the Campaign. Bishop has also invited me to be the first in our parish to make a sacrificial gift which I was able to fulfill in part last December. Brothers and sisters, I invite you to begin your discernment on how the Lord is calling your family to be a part of this campaign, and, in the upcoming months, you will be hearing more about how you can get involved.

May God abundantly bless you for your support of His Church,

Fr. Larry, Pastor
